Marie Dunn BA(Hons) MBACP(Accred)

I have been practising as a counsellor since 2008 when I gained my Counselling Diploma and in 2009 graduated with a Degree in Counselling. I have worked in a variety of counselling settings for example for MIND, John Moore’s University and have counselled people referred through Macmillan. I am on the Bupa Network of therapists and I’m also a counsellor for Cruse Bereavement.

I am an Accredited member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am committed to ongoing training and professional development.

I am pleased to have joined the Healthpoint teams in Ainsdale and Formby in 2024 to offer my counselling and psychotherapy service. I’m available for face-to-face appointments or video or telephone appointments.

I offer a free, no commitment meeting of about twenty minutes to give you the opportunity to meet me and to find out more about what to expect from therapy with me.

What I can help with:

Anxiety, depression, low mood, bereavement, loss, health related issues, panic, stress, self-esteem, anger, trauma, phobias, pain, self-harm, relationship issues.
